Turning off tessellation did not work for me. I did some digging and found a lot of you experiencing the issue as well. Maybe you had an outdated version of precisionX? or you could have another program interfering with the OSD? i know some recording software will have overlays that interfere with it on some games.
it's always worked in about all of my games. so i have never had any issues with it personally. (they practically use the same software but modified). I was using EVGA until it wouldn't show the OSD.ĮVGA's OSD has worked on every game that AfterBurner's OSD worked on according to my findings. True.no 's just that many games can not use EVGA OSD(batman arkham knight for one) pretty sure precision X uses a modified version of RTSS also (Which is what afterburner uses) for OSD purposes. other than that they both serve identicle purposes. MSI Afterburner has more OSD options like monitoring your CPU temps, usaged, system ram usage ect.
it's down to personal preference as they both work just as well. EVGA Precision X and MSI Afterburner are practically the same thing.
